SAP ERP Requirements Definition for Major Utility (€2B+ Revenue)

Project Overview

Engaged with a major European utilities company for a comprehensive two-year project focused on defining the detailed requirements for their strategic SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system initiative.

My Role & Work Done

• Requirements Lead: Led the entire requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation process.
• Extensive Workshop Facilitation: Organized and conducted numerous multi-day workshops involving representatives from finance, operations, logistics, HR, customer service, and IT.
• Stakeholder & Conflict Management: Acted as the central liaison between departments, actively identifying, documenting, and facilitating the resolution of conflicting requirements and priorities.
• Documentation Ownership: Responsible for creating and maintaining the master requirements documentation, including detailed functional specifications, process flow diagrams (e.g., using BPMN), UI mockups, and supporting sketches to ensure clarity and shared understanding.

Solution Overview

Led the end-to-end requirements definition process over a two-year engagement.
